Recently, Beijing Rural Commercial Bank widely applied the most advanced quantum cryptography in the metropolitan ring network of Beijing, realizing the office work and production in the headquarter, the data center, the business processing center, etc., and the secure transmission of data of intracity disaster recovery. This was the first time that the quantum communication technology was applied in the metropolitan optical fiber ring network in the financial sector, which laid the foundation for its large-scale promotion and application in the financial sector in the future.

In order to further enhance the security controllability of banking information technology, Beijing Rural Commercial Bank actively responded to the appeal of China Banking Regulatory Commission, participated in the technical validation and application demonstration of the Beijing-Shanghai quantum cryptography communication line, cooperated with the University of Science and Technology of China, QuantumCTek, and China Cable Television Network Co., Ltd. to build a 151KM metropolitan ring network based on quantum communication in Beijing, constructed the safe and highly-efficient network highway and achieved the secure transmission of office traffic between Huaxiang and Yizhuang in July, 2015. Based on the one-year stable operation, recently, Beijing Rural Commercial Bank transferred its production business and intracity disaster recovery data to the quantum cryptography channel, which enabled the comprehensive application of quantum cryptography technology in metropolitan ring networks, enhanced the overall security of the metropolitan area network of Beijing Rural Commercial Bank and further insured the secure transmission of financial data.
